Today, anyone can host including siblings, the mother-in-law, co-workers, or even the parents-to-be themselves. Co-hosting with 2-3 people is increasingly popular to share costs and planning duties.
How many guests should you invite?
A typical baby shower has 20-40 guests, but there are no rules. Intimate showers with 10-15 close friends work beautifully, while large celebrations with 50+ guests can be just as fun. Consider the venue capacity, budget, and the mom-to-be's comfort level when deciding.
What is a baby sprinkle?
A baby sprinkle is a smaller, more casual celebration typically held for second (or subsequent) babies. Instead of a full registry, guests "sprinkle" the parents with consumable essentials like diapers, wipes, and new-size clothing. Sprinkles are usually more intimate, with fewer guests and a simpler setup.
